Job Summary
Fraser Yachts is the world’s leading yacht Brokerage, Charter and Management company offering clients access to some of the best services available in the luxury yacht world.
Due to significant expansion, Fraser Yachts is looking for a Charter Broker to be based in Viareggio (Italy) to develop the Italian and international markets.
This exciting and challenging position requires enthusiasm, flexibility, self-motivation and interpersonal skills. Good commercial sense and organization skills are essential to excel in this highly competitive market.
The charter broker will be part of the newly established Viareggio-based sales team and will report to the Director of Fraser Yachts Italy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the charter industry;
- Working knowledge of industry tools (MYBA.net, contracts)
- Italian and English, other languages a plus;
- Willingness to travel;
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel).
Job Functions
The ideal candidate will:
- develop his/her database of potential charter clients, focusing on the Italian as well as the international market;
- profile, maintain and grow his/her database and keep potential clients informed of relevant developments and opportunities in the charter market;
- respond in a professional timely manner to all enquiries from clients;
- market the in-house fleet, where appropriate, to his/her client base;
- network with colleagues, other industry players and service providers including charter managers and captains and crew;
- keep abreast with changes in industry rules, regulations and practices;
- develop own knowledge of charter yachts and crew, industry trends, itineraries and destinations;
- keep abreast of industry news by taking part in international shows, reading yachting and business press and visiting open houses.
Attention to detail and discretion are a must.
