Job Summary
Fraser Yachts is the world’s leading yacht Brokerage, Charter and Management company offering clients access to of the best services available in the luxury yacht world. Due to significant expansion, Fraser Yachts is looking for a Yacht Broker to be based in Fort Lauderdale. This exciting and challenging position requires dynamism, flexibility, self-motivation and good time management skills. In addition to good commercial sense and marketing skills, the ability to negotiate is essential to excel in this highly competitive market. The successful candidate will be part of the Fort Lauderdale sales team and will report to the Commercial Director.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a luxury yacht broker;
- Established sales record and listing base;
- Working knowledge of yacht builders, shipyards and inventory;
- Basic contract knowledge;
- Knowledge of industry tools;
Networking and client management skills; - Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English, other languages are a plus;
- Willingness to travel;
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel).
Job Functions
The successful candidate will:
- add to, develop and profile his/her database of potential yacht owners, buyers and sellers;
- increase his/her listing base;
- keep abreast of industry trends and changes in industry practices;
- network with the industry;
- expand own knowledge of product, builders and designers;
- keep abreast of industry news by taking part in international shows, reading yachting and business press and visiting open houses.
Business ethics and discretion are imperative.
